Evyatar Nitzany
Healthcare Administration
Evyatar Nitzany is the former Electrophysiology Program Manager at El Camino Health in Mountain View, California. With over a decade of dedicated service in cardiac care, he provided operational guidance and technical leadership in a field that demands precision, coordination, and forward-thinking solutions. His approach combined clinical depth with strategic planning, leading to measurable improvements in service quality, infrastructure, and program performance.
During his tenure as Electrophysiology Program Manager, he was known for driving initiatives that elevated the hospital’s capabilities in electrophysiology. From supporting accreditation processes to streamlining complex operations, he was a steady force behind many of the department’s most impactful developments. His contributions played a central role in the hospital’s emergence as a regional leader in cardiac electrophysiology.
Journey to the Heart of Healthcare
Evyatar’s early background shaped a mindset of purpose, structure, and perseverance. These principles guided his academic path in the United States, where he focused on biotechnology and its potential to contribute to clinical practice. This growing interest in the intersection of science and healthcare became the foundation of his future career.
Nitzany earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Florida, complemented by a minor in Chemistry. He then pursued graduate studies, completing a Master of Science in Biotechnology at the University of California, Irvine. His interest in heart rhythm management led him to further specialization at the Arrhythmia Technologies Institute in Greenville, South Carolina, where he completed the Cardiac Specialist Program. This intensive training provided him with a strong technical foundation in electrophysiology.
Building Expertise from the Ground Up
His early career began at Biosense Webster, a well-established name in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. Serving as a Clinical Account Specialist, he provided both clinical and technical guidance on the use of the CARTO 3 mapping system, helping physicians and hospital teams across the Bay Area. His support ensured proper system use, enhanced procedural outcomes, and strengthened partnerships between clinical staff and industry resources.
Beyond clinical case support, Nitzany played a broader role that included physician education and engagement with hospital administrators. In 2016, he transitioned into a hospital-based position at El Camino Health, where he became an Electrophysiology Coordinator. In this role, he supported catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures while overseeing capital equipment planning and providing technical training to the clinical team.
In 2019, his responsibilities expanded when he was promoted to Coordinator of both Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology. This role brought new challenges in equipment acquisition, technology training, supply chain management, and workflow design. He collaborated with diverse clinical and operational teams to reduce inefficiencies, increase capacity, and prepare the department for its ongoing growth and expansion.
Program Leadership
In 2022, Evyatar was appointed Program Manager of Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology at El Camino Health. His leadership came at a time when the hospital was seeking to expand its cardiac care offerings and enhance the reach of its programs. Under his direction, the electrophysiology program saw a 400% increase in business volume, supported by years of steady double-digit growth. His strategic planning, collaborative execution, and cross-department coordination laid the foundation for this expansion.
Nitzany worked closely with seven electrophysiologists and partnered with administrative and medical leadership to align program operations with institutional goals. He led the construction of high-tech EP labs, integrated advanced systems and technologies, and played a lead role in the hospital’s successful application for Cath/EP accreditation from the American College of Cardiology. This effort contributed to El Camino Health’s recognition as a HeartCARE Center.
Publication and Professional Certification
Evyatar holds the Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification, which represents a deep technical understanding of electrophysiology systems and safety protocols. This qualification enabled him to work fluently across clinical, technical, and executive domains, supporting a shared vision of excellence in cardiac care.
His work was also recognized in EP Lab Digest, where the hospital’s program was featured for its innovative structure and growth under his leadership. This spotlight highlighted not only the operational success of the program but also its impact on the broader electrophysiology community.
Giving Back Through Culture, Education, and Community
Outside of the clinical setting, Evyatar has consistently demonstrated a commitment to community engagement and philanthropy. He has supported several Jewish organizations, including regional Jewish Community Centers and Chabad chapters. His donations reflect an ongoing connection to cultural identity and community values.
Nitzany also contributes to performing arts organizations in San Francisco, supporting creativity and access to cultural experiences. In addition, he has made donations to school programs, youth sports teams, and historical preservation efforts throughout California, underscoring his broader commitment to education, heritage, and civic engagement.
Life Beyond the Hospital Walls
Although he has led programs in high-pressure healthcare environments, he maintains a deep appreciation for personal relationships and cultural traditions. He is known for prioritizing time with family and friends and for attending events that foster connection and reflection. His balance of professional discipline and personal grounding has helped sustain his impact over the years.
